Exporting Recipes

The export function is one of the main features of the Student Recipe System. It allows recipes created in the Student Recipe System to be transferred to the main Windows Stock System for scheduling.

Exporting Recipes

There are two ways to export recipes:

1. Exporting from the Project / Recipe File
1. Go to the Recipes menu and select Add / Edit Recipe or click on the Projects button on the toolbar.
2. Locate the recipe you wish to export by using the List or Search (see Searching (Lookups).
   Note: If you are logged in as a student, you can only export your own recipes.
3. If your Export Location is set to 'A:\' (in Setup | File Locations), make sure you have a floppy disk in the floppy drive.
4. Click on the Export Recipe button in the bottom left of screen.


2. Using the Export Module
1. Choose the Recipes option and select Export Recipes or click on the Export button on the toolbar. The screen shown below will appear.
2. If your Export Location is set to 'A:\' (in Setup | File Locations), make sure there is a 3 ½ inch floppy disk inserted in the A drive.
3. Enter the desired filter options. For example, if you want to export all projects created by student HHH, enter HHH in the Student Code field then click Export. If you want to export all recipes, leave all fields blank.
4. The Reset Disk button deletes any existing exported recipes on the floppy disk.
