Units of Measure File

The units of measure file contains all units of measure that you may need to use in a project / recipe. The standard measure is either Kg, L or Each. The conversion factor represents the fraction (or multiple) of the standard unit that makes up the measurement. Eg. 1 cup Cornflour = 0.185kg. The form is the type of material that this measurement corresponds to.

To get to the Units of Measure File

To get to the Units of Measure File, select the File menu and select Units of Measure or click on the Units button on the toolbar.

Adding a Units of Measure Item

To scroll through the units of measure, use the database navigator. The and buttons scroll to the previous and the next item in the list respectively, whereas the and buttons go to the start and end of the list respectively.
To locate a specific unit of measure, use the List or Search (see Searching (Lookups)).

Reports

To view the units of measure reports, click on the Reports tab located at the top left of the units of measure file screen. The units of measure file provides 1 report:

Units of Measure Print Out: This report is a listing of all the units of measure items in unit code order. To generate the report, select Units of Measure Print Out from the report list and click on Preview or Print.
