There are 4 centre utilities:Steps
| Build Centre |
This utility allows you to quickly and easily add and remove items from a centre.
1. Select the centre you wish to build, from the list on the left. The Centre Items tab displays all items currently in the centre and the Stock Items tab displays the complete stock file from which you can add items.
2. To remove some items, go to the Centre Items tab, click on the item you wish to remove and then click on the Remove button.
3. To add items to the centre, go to the Stock Items tab, click on any item you wish to add and then click on the double arrow button pointing right. This will move the item description into the item list ready to be added.
4. Once you have added all desired items into the right box, click on the Add to Centre button to add them to the centre. Of course, this will not assign stock categories or on-hand values to the newly added items. To update the categories, you can do each item individually in the centre file (see Centre File | Editing a Centre File). To update on-hand values of the new items, you will need to perform a stocktake (see Stocktake File | Performing a Stocktake).
| Copy Centre |
This utility copies all items from a selected centre to another selected centre. Just choose the centre you wish to copy from and the one you wish to copy to, then click on Copy.
| Delete Centre |
This utility allows you to delete a centre and all the items in it. Simply select the centre you wish to delete, then click on Delete.
| Assign Categories |
This utility allows you to edit the stock categories of more than one item at a time. First, select the centre you wish to edit at the top of screen. The Centre Items box will list all items in the centre. The Categories box lists all stock categories. Tick any items you wish to assign to the same category. Select the category from list and then click on Assign. This will assign all checked items to the new category in the centre file. You can do this as many times as required.
| Update Descriptions |
This utility allows you to update all descriptions of items stored in the centre file to the latest descriptions from the stock file.
| Delete and Replace |
This utility allows you to select an item that you no longer wish to use, replace every occurrence of it in the Centre and Project / Recipe files with a new selected item and then delete it. This is handy if there is an outdated item in the stock database and you wish to delete it and replace it with an item that is more suitable for you.
